Letter To Home 09-15-2022

Tanisi,

This is to remind you of some important dates in September for Eagleview Middle School.

September 19 – National Day of Mourning – All schools closed
September 20-23 – Spirit Week
September 20- Anything but a Backpack Day
September 21– Messy Hair Day
September 22 – Mismatched Clothing/ Crazy Hat Day
September 23– Cultural/ Heritage Day
September 26– Grade 8 Boys leave to Bear Camp
September 29– Grade 8 Boys return from Bear Camp
September 30– Truth and Reconciliation Day – No School

Attached is a calendar for September with all these dates included. A reminder to parents that cell phones are not allowed at the school. If your child must bring his/her phone, it must be turned into the office or the teacher and they may check it during break. Otherwise, it maybe taken and kept in the office until the end of the day. Cell phones have been a big distraction for students during class time and as educators we value the time to educate the students and ask that your child leaves their cell phone at home.

The year has been starting out great and we are happy to see all the students back in class. Although, Covid-19 has been calming down we are still asking to monitor your child and their symptoms. If your child is not feeling well, we ask that you keep them home until they are better as per Covid-19 protocols and guidelines. We are looking forward to having a remarkable year with all the staff and students back in class.

Ay Hiy
